Photograph of campus farewell for students leaving for active duty in armed forces, USC, ca. 1944. The crowd stretches all the way from the entrance to Old College to the grounds. Some in the crowd are wearing military uniforms. People are also watching from the windows of the second and third floors. Some are even sitting on the ledge of the second floor. "Showing its age badly. Old College continued to be the focal point of many campus activities through the days of World War II and the immediate postwar period.
