Supplementary material reads: "Caption -- undeveloped neg. World's loudest air raid siren is hoisted atop City of Burbank's public service building today (Friday, Oct. 30) by giant crane, first installation of this type of air raid warneing device in Southern California. The radio-controlled siren, built by Chrystler Corporation, will be tested Friday, Nov. 6, by Burbank civil defense officials".
