The plant, with annual payroll of $25,000,000, covers 51 acres. 151: Mammoth oil columns can be seen in large weld process at the C.F. Braun and Co. plant, Alhambra's multi-million dollar industry. Seen in front of columns are ssistant foreman Carl Borel and Tex Aubrey. More than 5,000 people are employed by the company. Structure in background is the Alhambra Athletic Club, center for many of the community's youth activities".
