Supplementary material reads: "Oswald Ryan, senior member of the Civil Aeronautics Board, is shown here as he arrived in Los Angeles from Washington D.C. last night (Sunday). He will join the C.A.B. inquiry into the crash of a non-scheduled North Continent Airlines plane which killed 29 persons in the Puente hills last April.
