Damage to mail box by firecracker (explosion), 1956
Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Brunk. Date: 09-21. Reporter: alone. Assignment: Explosion. 659 West 28th Street. B25-26: On Sorority Row, at the Kappa Alpha Theta house, damage is shown done to a mailbox by a cherry bomb, or firecracker (possibly the home made type). The house mother shown gave her name only as Mrs. Allen, and ordered the newsmen from the property saying 'that all they were good for, is to give USC a bad name'".
