Arrival from New York for debut in Paramount Pictures, 1951
Supplementary material reads: "From: American Airlines, Inc. 6705 Sunset Blvd. Hollywood 28, Calif. J. J. Harty. GL 3911. Hollywood, Calif., Oct. 5, 1951. Lydia Clarke again proves the adage 'go east to come west', for when she arrived here late last evening (Thursday, Oct. 4th) via American Airlines from New York it was to make her screen debut in a starring role of the Paramount pictures 'Los Alamos'. It was also 'homecoming' for her for even though she has been filling many Broadway engagements, she and her husband, Charlton Heston, well known screen star, have been residing in Hollywood. Miss Clarke was selected for the part only yesterday. Her rush trip here was for wardrobe fittings after which she will go to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the picture is currently in production".
