Supplementary material reads: "Gershon. City desk. Illus. Boat launching. No. 1: Mrs. Donna Lee Bergman poised with champagne bottle as left (behind her) Boyer Sparks , Carl Witzell, on right underneath boat, Arthur Dibs, behind him are George Clay and Phil Clay. Boat was built by all inside hardware store at 3121 East Anaheim Street, Long Beach. They are all merchants. Boat was launched through window and then taken to Alimitos [sic] Bay. Even Bobby, Mr.Bergman's 14-mths old boy got into act. He's sitting on bow. No. 2: same as above except Sparks is standing up by cabin of boat".
