Supplemental material reads: "Gershon. Monday early. Illus. Shipbuilder retires. Seated, is William J. Courtiour, 67, retiring Structural Superintendent of Bethlehem Shipyard here, with William Harrington, manager, looking at British Bill of Indenture which Courtiour worked under as lad of 14. The Bill forbade him to 'marry, gamble at cards or dice, and to proectect [sic.] his master's interests' for seven years before he could be a master shipwright".
