"Guys and Dolls" gimmick, 1956
Supplementary material reads: "A world-wide collection of 'guys and dolls' was a surprise presentation by Arthur Loew, president of Loew's Inc., to producer Samuel Goldwyn, who hosted members of Loew's International attending the sales conclave at the M-G-M studios at Romanoffs tonight. Delegates from 37 countries brought with them a 'guy and doll' representative of their native land. It is estimated that the dolls, many of which are museum pieces, are worth more than $10,000".
