Supplementary material reads: "Marina pictures for Wednesday article in Keating recreation series. No. 16 was taken within the harbor on one of the big earth jetties on which will be built apartment houses, boatels, and a variety of other commercial projects to be operated or subleased, by promoters. The water around the jetties will be used for some 6100 individual yacht ships. No. 59 and 60 were taken from the top of a hill to the South of the Marina in Playa Del Rey and show the main entrance channel of the harbor in the foreground and the various jetties in the background. The Marina encompasses some 780 acres of land and water. No. 46 shows one of the uncompleted bays in the harbor on the North side next to Venice. It shows the huge banks of dredging mud which are being piled up on the perimeter -- about which Venice residents have protested, since it cuts off theur view of the harbor. In some places these banks are 30 feet high."
