Most are agriculturists with a few doctors, lawyers and engineers. No 5/6: Emigrants from Japan to Brazil shown on deck as maiden voyage passenger liner Brazil Maru enters West Basin for two night stay. Ship is owned by O.S.K. Line, Williams Dimond are agents here. Nos 7/8/9: Starting right to left with boy: Boy is Masanori Nanbi, 3, Kosei Fugisawa, Mitsui Onoyama holding Uki Onoyama, 3, and Hideko Omini. They will all start new life in Brazil".
