Movie stars return from Egypt, 1954
Supplementary material reads: "For: immediate release. The first American film stars ever to appear in a major Hollywood production filmed in Egypt, Robert Taylor and Eleanor Parker, arrived by American Airlines last night at Los Angeles Municipal Airport. With the stars was writer Robert Pirosh, who directed the M-G-M film 'Valley of the Kings.' Filming, from native sections of Cairo to the actual 'Valley of the Kings,' historic resting place of the ancient pharoahs [sic.], was made possible by 100 per cent co-operation of Egyptian authorities. The company, including Carlos Thompson and Kurt Kasznar, left Hollywood by air nearly two months ago for the most unusual project. Both Miss Parker and Mr. Taylor imported colds from abroad".
