Picture postcard. On front: Gen'l Fremont, wife and daughter, Big Tree Grove, Santa Cruz, California. General Fremont with his wife and daughter standing in front of a tree with a sign "Gen'l Fremont". He and his wife(?) are standing to the left of the hollow of the tree and his daughter(?) is standing to the right of the hollow. He is wearing a blue suit and holding his hat on the right hand. Both women are wearing long dresses and hats and carrying flowers. On divided back: On the left side, "Published by Pacific Novelty Co. of San Francisco, Cal." and "S. C. 139". Upper left corner contains logo for Pacific Novelty Co. Handwritten notation in pencil in upper left corner reads "1'05".
