The torpedo-like container which has been used by liquor smugglers working between Detroit and Canada, via the Detroit River. Powered by a motor, the container was attached to a mile-ling cable stretched beneath the river and thus sped to either shore, carrying the "laughing soup". 20 cases each half hour was the capacity for the layout.
