Special Instructions: For Monday, 14th. 52/53/77: France Nuyen, 18, half Chinese and half French, who went from counter of New York cookie shop to role of "Liat" the "happy talk" girl in film version of South Pacific, in Santa Monica Superior Court where she had contract with 20th Century Fox film studio approved. Seven-year contract calls for salary ranging from $400 to $1500 weekly".
