Electronic Cattle Rustler, 1951
Supplementary material reads: "Milligan, -1-1-1-. Electronic-age cattle rustler nabbed. Ben Wood, 30-year-old cowboy from Snow Cloud, Okla., tells Pomona Police Chief Ralph E. Parker how he used an electric shocking rod to goad stolen cattle into a stolen car and trailer during night raids in local pastures. Wood admitted he rustled 15 head of cattle between September 27 and October 25 to sell in Los Angeles stockyards for an average of $100 each. Standing left to right are Pomona detectives Charles Fee and Dee Archer who cracked the case by matching tire tread marks and a pair of gloves with the rustler's activities. (Bill Milligan photo)".
