Korean war veteran Sergeant First Class Joseph Rodriguez, 23, of San Bernardino, accompanied by his fiance Miss Rose Aranda, left, and sister, Miss Josephine Rodriguez, departed via TWA Constellation yesterday for Washington, D.C. , where he will be presented the Congressional Medal of Honor by President Harry S. Truman, tomorrow, 1/29). Sgt. Rodriguez, who is now assigned to the ORC School at San Bernardino, looked calm as he stepped aboard the giant Skyliner, but commented that he has been looking forward to the trip to Washington, D.C. for the presentation of the medal from the president which will be one of the greatest moments in his life".
