For immediate release. Glendale Chamber leaves for Honolulu. Bonanza Air Lines today inaugurated service from Lockheed Air Terminal with a 7:45 AM departure for Los Angeles with 21 members of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce enroute on their annual trip to the Islands. Ceremonies for this trip were equally shared, for it marked the beginning of a new airline service from Burbank to Phoenix, via Los Angeles, Ontario/Riverside, Indio and Blythe. The Chambers of Commerce in the San Fernando Valley and Pasadena were helpful in bringing this new service into Burbank".
