Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Miller. Date: 1953-08-31. Reporter: Clausen. Assignment: Biological Photos. Prize winning photo by Sam Dunton, New York Zoological Society, shows head of Tiger Swallowtail caterpillar. Large 'eyes' which seem to be atop head are actually markings on top of head--camouflage to frighten birds. Photo is entitled 'Unseeing Eyes.' Camera, a 4 by 5 Speed Graphic, was prefocused on piece of wood in path of ants, and picture was made when this ant paused briefly to shift load.
