Supplementary material reads: Dan E. Fabun, 73, son of a San Bernardino pioneer, dead in front seat of his car after shooting and wounding his estranged wife, Mrs. Lula Fabun, 72, and her sister's husband, James Woodward, 72, at the Woodward home, 908 Cardiff Avenue, San Bernardino. Fabun fled in his car which tore through a wire fence and into a field in the 500 block of Cardiff. No wounds were found on his body. Deputy Sheriffs found a bottle which contained poison on the crac(?) Woodward lawn. They believe Fabun drank it after the shooting".
