Largest crate to ever leave harbor, 1952
Supplementary material reads: "chernus -- harbor. Two negs show riggers strain at manuel [sic.] jack as they left 80-ton crate containing hydraulic press preparatory loading it on huge truck. Crate is bound for Belfast Ireland. Trucked to docks and loaded aboard ship by two 50-ton crains [sic.]. This crate is 16 feet high, 13 feet wide, 15 feet long. Foreign trade export packers contains enough lumber to build five room house. It is largest crated package ever to leave port".
