Insurance meeting at Biltmore, 1951
Supplementary material reads: "From Frederick. Insurance meeting -- Biltmore. Lewis Allen Weiss, assistant administrator of the National Production Authority for civilian requirements, Wash., D.C., the day's principal speaker. John D. Moynahan of Chicago, president of the National Association of Life Underwriters. Charles E. Cleeton of Los Angeles, vice president of the NALU. (Note: Cleeton in all probability will be elected president, but, due to political considerations, the LA group have asked that no mention of his candidacy be mentioned till after the elections, which are due for some time between 2:30 and 3:30 this afternoon. They're afraid the NY gang will yell 'steamroller' and upset the apple cart -- if you'll pardon the mixed metaphor -- Frederick".
